Our Mission Statement
Summerhill Baptist Church is a community of people to be used by God for His touch on people's lives, giving them fresh purpose, hope and meaning to life.
Our Vision
We believe that we are called by God to be an oasis, a place where the spiritually dry, hungry or hurt can find refreshing, sustenance, renewal and healing.
Therefore, we seek to introduce the people of our community and beyond to Jesus Christ, to bring them into a personal relationship with Him and assist them to grow towards spiritual maturity.
This is achieved through our four main purposes:
- worship,
- ministry,
- evangelism and
- discipleship
which are the essence of the"Great Commandment" and the "Great Commission".

Matthew 22:37 - 40
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (Worship). This the first and Greatest Commandment.
The second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself (Ministry). All the law and the prophets hang on these commandments.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit (Evangelism). Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you and surely I am with you always to the very end of the age (Descipleship).
